How Do We Do This Work?
From the outset, we have an Intake Session that is a “Needs Analysis.” This is a structured interview wherein we discuss and help identify the problems, opportunities, desired outcomes and measures for success.

We map a course of action and come to agreement on an approach in conjunction with results of the Challenger Leadership Index, our exclusive business strengths analysis tool. This is then assembled into a preliminary work plan, which includes suggested measurable performance improvement indicators. We work toward a set of ideal business competencies and measure them against provable, measurable outcomes.

We utilize a predefined challenge discovery process that we have developed as a model, which we augment to suit the business need. This process includes learning various discernment techniques and work tools, and ways of gaining clarity and direction through a narrative process, a thinking process and through an action-based process. Implementation

Our small group learning experience “packages” are normally conducted for multiple groups made up of 8 to 12 individuals, and typically include the following topics and activities:

• The payoff for coaching
• Roles and responsibilities of the coach
• Measuring coach-ability and creating trust and receptivity
• Fostering commitment to learn and grow
• Identifying and capturing “teaching moments”
• How to use reflective listening and Socratic questioning to teach key lessons
• The ingredients of personal improvement plans
• Celebrating achievements and using positive reinforcement techniques to motivate continuous improvement
• Coaching beyond performance: helping others achieve work/life balance

Small Group participants often request and receive individualized coaching from Challenger approved executive coaches individually, either to simply experience effective one-on-one coaching as well as to master more sophisticated coaching best practices and techniques. Of course, Small Group packages are always shadowed by a Challenger Certified Business Coach. In either case, these coaching experiences would naturally include…

• In-depth analysis of the leadership traits and style, in order to identify and use inherent strengths, and manage personal limitations
• Construction of business goals and plans that are specific, challenging, time-based and action-oriented
• Analysis of individual and team performance issues, to discover and correct root causes of performance problems
• Creation of team-building strategies and tactics
• Facilitation of team building sessions
• Development of specific leadership skills, such as performance feedback techniques, motivational communication, coaching and mentoring, personal resilience, diversity, or life and work balance.

The benefit of these processes and tools is that they allow participants to improve their communication skills, work together more effectively, better anticipate and respond to clients’ needs, and deliver higher results overall.

Challenger Business & Executive Coaching programs have a measurable proven ROI, providing a unique and powerful difference when compared with other methods and processes.
