CEO Turnover in July Hits 94 in Tight Labor Market

A total of 94 Chief Executive Officers left their posts in July, up 4 percent from June’s total of 90, according to a report released Wednesday by global outplacement consultancy and executive coaching firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc.

July departures are 8 percent lower than the 102 CEOs who left their posts in the same month last year. So far this year, 725 CEO changes have been recorded, 8 percent more than the 669 CEO departures recorded last year.
