For the last 12+ years, Sterling has worked as a job transition coach at Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. Sterling was the recipient of the prestigious CEO AWARD for the 2nd time for continuous outstanding performance.

Sterling began his career in the financial industry with ABN AMRO. After two years, he was accepted into the highly competitive Management Associates Program. In this program, he rotated through various divisions while spending time with key decision makers. After his stint at ABN, he built additional financial industry experience with the Northern Trust Corporation as a Senior Corporate Trust Administrator/Account Relationship Manager and as a Senior Securities Lending Analyst.

Over his years with Challenger, Sterling has conducted numerous CGC job search workshops and has helped hundreds of professionals, from managers to the C-Suite, through their career transitions.

He also worked in the non-for-profit industry, specifically working with adult men with disabilities and the homeless population with substance abuse history and criminal backgrounds, including incarceration.
