John Gable Joins #TeamChallenger as VP in Chicago

John Gable, of Chicago, joins global outplacement and executive coaching consultancy Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. as Vice President. He will be responsible for client relationships and business development in the greater Chicago market.
Throughout his career, he has cultivated strong relationships with top Human Resources and Talent Development leaders and their teams for local, national and global customers, from Fortune 500 multinationals to privately held businesses. He is an expert in executive development, career development, business planning, HR consulting, and human capital asset management. He has extensive experience guiding transitioning professionals to the next stages of their careers, especially C-Suite and senior executives, having spent 27 years providing outplacement and executive coaching services.
An Air Force Veteran, John also has worked at Amoco (now BP) and Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). He holds graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Board Member of Heidelberg Club International and Chair of the Executive Advisory Council of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR). He also serves on the board development committee of the Make-a-Wish Foundation (Illinois). Challenger is thrilled to have John’s expertise and leadership abilities on the team.
