Women CEOs Make Headway in 2016

The number of women taking over the role of chief executive officer increased for the third consecutive year in 2016, according to new data released Wednesday by global outplacement consultancy Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. The new findings suggest that while women still represent a small fraction of the nation’s CEOs, they are rapidly making gains.

2016 April CEO Turnover: Exits Hit 108; Strategy, Not Sector Weakness, Impacts Computer Leaders

Turnover among the nation’s chief executive officers increased for the second consecutive month in April, as 108 CEO departures were announced during the month. That was up 7 percent from 101 in March, according to a report released Wednesday by global outplacement consultancy Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc.
