Our Vice President in Houston, Anne Speed, was recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC). Anne has been an active member of the organization’s Human Resources’ Committee for the last two years; leveraging her strategic and operational HR expertise she gained from working within the energy, heathcare, technolgy, and financial services industries.

Anne was a member of the Host Committee for the GSSJC’s Success to Significance luncheon held on May 3 at the Hilton Americas in downtown Houston. She, along with Challenger, Gray & Christmas, and her fellow HR colleagues were honored to support the initiative.

In her role with Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc., Anne partners with HR and business leaders to provide customized, results-driven career transition services and executive business coaching. Prior to joining Challenger, Anne was an Executive Director at Russell Reynolds Associates within the Human Resources Practice and in their Healthcare Sector and led many national C-Suite executive searches for CEO, CIO, and CHRO roles. Anne graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and started her career on Conoco’s Management Development Program which led to her initial exposure and passion for human resources.

Anne is excited to help girls realize their potential with a strong support network, confidence building, and mentorship as a member of the Board of the Directors for the GSSJC. Congratulations to Anne on the recognition for her work.
