We are thrilled to introduce Maureen Tarantello as the new Senior Vice President of Executive Coaching at Challenger, Gray & Christmas. Maureen’s passion for coaching stems from her deep commitment to helping individuals unlock their full potential. She believes in the transformative power of coaching to accelerate development, build confident and effective leaders, and drive business results.

With extensive P&L and operations leadership experience—most recently leading a $4 billion professional services business—Maureen brings a unique, results-driven perspective to her role. As a coach, she works with C-suite executives, directors, and high-potential leaders to navigate leadership challenges, career transitions, and organizational change. She advises CEOs, prepares emerging talent for leadership roles, and helps teams foster collaboration and culture to enhance performance.

Prior to joining Challenger, Maureen was a Managing Director at Willis Towers Watson (WTW), where she led a 15,000-person organization across the human resources consulting spectrum. She played a key role in integrating businesses and cultures through three major mergers, helping WTW grow into a $9 billion publicly traded enterprise. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for adaptability, collaboration, and strategic problem-solving.

Maureen holds a Master of Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ICF) and a Certified Professional Coach (iPEC).

Her leadership has been widely recognized—she was named one of the 50 Women to Watch for Boards by 50/50 Women on Boards and has served in various leadership roles, including President of the Cornell Alumni Association of Dallas-Fort Worth, Chair of the Board of Directors for HRMAC, and Board positions with the American Heart Association Cotes du Coeur, Richardson Symphony League, and Young Men’s Service League.

Outside of work, Maureen enjoys traveling, hiking national parks, practicing yoga, cooking restaurant-quality meals, and spending time with her husband, adult children, and husky.
