Colleen Madden Blumenfeld Named Vice President of Public Relations for Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc.

The leading outplacement and executive coaching firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. is pleased to announce Colleen Madden Blumenfeld has been named Vice President Public Relations effective immediately. In addition to leading the company’s public and media relations efforts, Colleen will develop strategic content initiatives and build both internal and external relationships to enhance and strengthen the firm’s research and thought leadership.

For over a decade, Colleen has written reports, designed surveys, and analyzed data on business, the workplace, and the economy for the firm, including on topics such as productivity, diversity, culture, and the labor market.

Colleen started her career with Challenger as a PR Associate, building media relationships and pitching workplace and business stories. In 2017, she was named Director of Public Relations. Throughout her career with Challenger, she has helped position the company as a thought leader to help inform not just the media, but also the myriad industries and companies Challenger serves.

Prior to her roles with Challenger, Colleen worked in community relations for an elected official in Chicago. Colleen earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a Minor in Communications focusing on Journalism from DePaul University in Chicago. She currently lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and two children.
