Challenger Senior Executive Job Search Coach Sterling Gunn Appointed To Regional Director In Chicago

STERLING GUNN APPOINTED TO REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Sterling Gunn of Chicago, a Challenger Certified Senior Executive Job Search Coach, will now serve as Regional Director for global outplacement and business and executive coaching consultancy Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. He will be responsible for client relationships and business development in Illinois and Wisconsin.

For over a decade, Sterling has provided expert job search advice to high-level and C-Suite executives from organizations across the country, from small and mid-size companies to Fortune 500 firms. He has partnered with numerous companies, performing strengths and weaknesses analyses, assessing risk, and offering outplacement services strategies and coaching. Sterling was awarded the CEO Award from Challenger, Gray & Christmas for his exceptional performance in 2014 and 2016.

Prior to Challenger, Sterling worked as the Senior Assessor at Haymarket Center. There he oversaw efforts to guide, mentor, and support the staff as they served homeless clients, providing them with shelter, treatment, and transitional living programs. 

He also served as Senior Securities Lending Analyst for the Northern Trust Corporation, where he managed a mandatory corporate action portfolio within the middle market business. He began his career as the Senior Corporate Trust Administrator/Account Relationship Manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V, both in Chicago.

Sterling earned a B.S. in Human Resources Management from DePaul University, College of Commerce.
