Challenger Welcomes Three New Experts to Our West Coast Team

Challenger is excited to announce the addition of three new team members, led by Joey Barry, to expand our reach in the western United States. We are thrilled to welcome their passion, enthusiasm, and expertise to Team Challenger.
Lauren De John of Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc.
Lauren De John
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Communications with a minor in Business Administration-Management from San Diego State University. Prior to joining Challenger, Lauren honed her skills as a relationship manager and account executive in the staffing industry for over four years.
Born and raised in Orange County where she currently resides, Lauren enjoys beach outings, running, snowboarding, and traveling.
Nancy Brooks of Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc.
Nancy Brooks
Nancy is a seasoned sales executive with experience in staffing and recruiting, SaaS, and advertising sales. Before joining Challenger, Nancy was a business development leader at 24Seven, where she managed enterprise-level accounts such as Netflix and Live Nation.
Born and raised in Chico, CA, Nancy earned a degree in education, initially aspiring to be an elementary school teacher. After catching the sales bug early in her career, she embarked on an exciting journey to San Francisco and Los Angeles, where she met her husband. Nancy and Jason then moved to Scottsdale, AZ with their German Shepherd, Meeka. They love to spend time with family and friends, hiking, enjoying great food, and attending live events.
Dan Ritter of Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc.
Dan Ritter
Dan is an experienced client-facing professional with over 17 years dedicated to the professional services space. He began his career in project management and client management roles before transitioning into sales-focused positions. Prior to joining Challenger, Dan spent six years focused on career transition and executive coaching services.
Dan grew up in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. After graduating from Michigan State (go Spartans!), he moved to Chicago, where he lived for 15 years. Dan played various sports, including football, broomball, kickball, and beach volleyball. A move to Denver renewed his passion for outdoor activities, and he is now in the process of settling in San Diego, California.
