The labor market is loosening, and companies appear to be entering the new year cautiously. To help navigate the current job market, Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. will provide free career and job search advice to callers nationwide.

The Challenger Hotline, in its 38th year, offers expert guidance to those seeking new positions.

WHAT: The Challenger Hotline

WHO: Global outplacement and business and executive coaching firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc.

WHEN: December 26-27, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. CT/10 a.m.-6 p.m. ET

HOW: By phone

For English – 312-422-5010

Para español – 312-422-5020

WHY: To give job seekers and professionals expert career advice to help advance their careers or land new positions

Challenger will suspend normal business operations for two days so its staff of professional job search coaches can provide free job search advice to callers from across the country.

This year, news crews are invited on Tuesday, December 26th from 9 a.m. CT to 1 p.m. CT for in-person interviews and to acquire footage of our coaches in action.

As an outplacement firm, Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. provides leadership, job search, and career transition coaching to displaced employees. The firm’s services are typically available only to those who receive outplacement as a benefit from their former employer. The two-day hotline is the only time the public can take advantage of Challenger’s job search expertise.

The hotline does not place callers with new employers, nor can our experts review individual resumes or point callers to specific opportunities. However, our coaches can give callers time-tested, expert strategies and advice. The hotline affords anyone the opportunity to get some guidance from our experts in the job search field.
